- Balanced Programming-
-Partnership-
We commit to proclaiming the message of the Gospel to our students and those students and families who our ministry touches.
We commit to providing exciting, challenging, and biblically sound worship environments for your high school student.
We commit to producing safe, organized, and fun events for students to grow in fellowship with each other.
We commit to presenting discipleship in a way that encourages teenagers to grow deeper in their faith.
We commit to pushing teenagers to move outside their comfort zones to become servants to others around them.
Part of our ministry to teenagers includes ministering to parents.
We believe that parents are the greatest spiritual influence in a child’s life, and we want to authorize parents to lead the way in every area of their child’s development. In short, we are the spiritual vitamin for your child, but they should eat their spiritual meals at home. We want to partner with you to reach this generation with the love and truth that is Jesus.

We believe that a disciple of Jesus is a well-rounded follower! We want to encourage you to get your student plugged into the 3 different areas of MERGE Life:
1. WORSHIP (MERGE): We meet weekly on
Wednesday Night for worship in the FMB.
2. GROW (subMERGE): Subs are our
weekly small groups designed
to connect teens with a deeper passion
for Jesus and deeper relational connection
to each other. We have a different sub
groups for every grade level.
3. SERVE (eMERGE): It’s not enough for us
to learn to worship and fellowship. We
need to practically serve the community
around us through missional outreach.
Everything we will teach on Wednesday night is geared to help your student become all that God intended for them to be. We have 7 basic principles that we teach from:
1. Authentic Faith:
Faith is the confidence that God is who He says He is and will do what He says He will do.
Key Passage - Proverbs 3:5-6
2. Spiritual Disciplines:
The apostle Paul assures us that transformation begins with a renewed mind. As students begin to renew their
minds to the truths of Scripture, their attitudes and behavior will change.
Key Passage - Romans 12:2
3. Moral Boundaries:
Purity paves the way to intimacy. One of the most important things a student can do is establish limits. Students
need to learn how to protect their body and emotions by honoring God's plan for sex and morality.
Key Passage - 1 Thessalonians 4:3-8
4. Healthy Friendships:
The people our students associate with the most will determine the direction and quality of their lives. This principle
focuses on helping our teenagers build healthy friendships while avoiding unhealthy ones.
Key Passage - Proverbs 13:20
5. Wise Choices:
In light of past experience and future dreams, students need to ask themselves "What is the wise thing to do?"
Good decision making is more than simply choosing between right and wrong. This principle focuses on the
necessity of wisdom in decision making.
Key Passage - Ephesians 5:15-17
6. Ultimate Authority:
Freedom and authority are often viewed as opposing concepts. But the Scriptures teach that freedom is found
under authority. This principle focuses on the need for students to stay under the authorities that God has placed
over them.
Key Passage - Romans 13:1-2
7. Others First:
Selfishness comes natural. Selflessness must be learned. The hallmark of a believer is his or her willingness to put
the needs of others ahead of their own. This principle addresses our student's propensity toward selfishness and
self-centeredness.
Key Passage - Philippians 2:3-11
